When you take a college credits course through WWCC - Elk Mountain Outreach, you may be assured that the course work and the instructor's qualifications and expectations will be comparable to that of the same course taught on campus.
Degree Plans: You may work toward a two-year (Associates) degree through the Outreach. At the very least, you may get started by taking those courses required no matter what degree you are seeking (See general education requirements).
Advising: Once you have decided which degree you wish to persue, Outreach staff will be glad to help you set up your degree plan. This allows you to know what classes are required and also assists in the planning of course offerings.
Transcripts: We accept classes taken at other institutions. Generally, there is no time limit as to how long credits are considered acceptable, but final determination must be made by WWCC.
Transferability: The majority of WWCC Credit Classes are transferable to other institutions. You should, however, plan classes carefully and make sure you undrestand what is required at the transfering institution.
